Very tasty food to go even after the “goose season”. Today a steak with fries, a grilled knuckle of the Eifel lucky pig and as Black Forest cherry dessert in a to go mug. We are full and satisfied. Bye for now.
Always a good choice for a family dinner or a wedding anniversary. We recently picked up goose for home, it was deliciously tender and the bone was blown, there were chestnuts in the sauce. Always happy, very friendly and everything delicious.
Goose to go! Order menu, pick up, eat, incredibly delicious. Nice advice and service. Simply good.
always enjoyed being here. Now only to take away and still delicious, of course, you miss the experience but what the heck :) Wish the team all the best 🍀
Cozy, hospitable, very good food .. But the long waiting times spoil the actually good impression
We had a very nice and delicious evening. All dishes are freshly prepared. Homemade bread. Service very friendly. Price performance is right. We will come back!
A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Mülheim. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The dishes are lovingly prepared and taste great. The prices are in a high but reasonable level. Parking spaces with a resident parking permit are of course rare in the city center.
Really great evening with good service and excellent food. One always likes to come back here! You should definitely try the homemade delicacies.
A sentence with X dat was probably nothing .. Price performance is not good ... a shame for the great location ..
Well
Food very good. High quality. Very attentive. Very friendly served by Franziska. Great ambience. Recommendable.
Was here for the third time. Now "only" on a couple of starters and something delicious Dröpje. And that at 2100 in the evening spontaneously and without a reservation - great, enjoyable, enthusiastic! This also applies to the evening "a la carte" or in the menu - the service is friendly and competent and the food is great. Not to mention the selection of drinks. Slow food in the beautiful old town, simply wonderful!
A really super nice location. Cozy, family atmosphere in a rustic half-timbered house. Just great and somehow not Mülheim at all. Extremely courteous and friendly staff. Seldom experienced something like that. Top! All dishes were excellently prepared. Savoy cabbage rolls, Wiener schnitzel or ribbon noodles with chanterelles. Very solid craft in the kitchen. Only the fried black pudding with endive mashed potatoes were inedible (according to the person who had ordered it). It should also be mentioned that we had two vegan eaters with us and heaven and hell were set in motion to conjure up a very tasty dish for them both. Thank you very much again ..... Not unmentioned here is the freshly tapped beer which was incredibly delicious. Best regards from the neighborhood.
The ambience is great, the food is very tasty and well portioned.
Nice location but we found the food mediocre. The salad was just a plate of white cabbage and the steak was dry fried.
Fabjlous food, great surrounding, lovely helpful, friendly staff
Great restaurant with a rustic, cozy atmosphere. A varied, not too extensive menu with traditional cuisine is offered. Somewhat higher in price, but absolutely justified by the quality. I would come again.
Nice place! The house is from 1550, spread over three floors and totally cozy. Drinks and food are special. I would love to come back here
A really nice rustic ambience and good food. The waiter was very friendly and everything went quickly. The restaurant serves its guests in a relaxed atmosphere but nevertheless professionally. Slightly higher in price but absolutely justified. Although the knuckle took a long time, it was seldom seen as crunchy and juicy. It's worth a visit!
The mousetrap is a wonderful restaurant with friendly service, great ambience and of course delicious food. We celebrated our wedding there and it was just great! Thanks to the entire team! I can definitely only recommend it!
Very nice restaurant. Well-kept half-timbered house nostalgic touch inside and out. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside very well. Should not be missed. Menu manageable. Rustic dishes tasty and with love
Very good quality! Smaller, also seasonal selection, gladly hearty :) Huge selection of drinks (especially wine etc. is an insane selection!). Nice rustic interior, does not echo. The entrance and restaurant are not accessible for wheelchair users. Toilet small but clean :) Service young, nice and good mood and very accommodating. Don't appear too often, but be there attentively and in time. Payment also possible by card.
Great food.
very good!!
Great traditional food. Cozy feel
The Restaurant looks very old. Its kept very neat & clean. You can just sit there have beer as the ambiance is soothing. I had ordered Wiener Schnitzel with Potato Salad and it was not the best I would say. The salad they served with it was good. I was there the second time and got disappointed with the food, unfortunately.
Good food
Very authentic, flavourful and excellent service. Would certainly eat here again along with all the local people if I ever make it back to Mülheim! 😄
Top
The place is nice, but my Wiener Schnitzel was not pan fried, but put in the hot oil boiler, what you would expect in cafeteria, but not in a restaurant
Magic place with lot of history I. The middle of industrial Mülheim an der Ruhr, Nordheim Westfalia. Great food and ambiance. Restaurant for special occasions.
Would 100% recommend if you're in Mulheim. Food was lovely and id suggest trying one of the homemade liqueurs. Very tasty!!
I was looking for somewhere nice and traditionally German and this place did not disappoint. Super friendly service and every part of the meal was cooked to perfection. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mausefalle to anyone.
Wonderful food and rustic atmosphere
Very delicious
Nice restaurent with a "warm" atmosphere.
Cosy and authentic nice food
I visited from the US after finding myself (unbeknownst to me) in Düsseldorf on Rosenmontag during Karneval. After a day trip to the Ruhr Museum, I found this place on my way back to Düsseldorf. The food was outstanding; I had a sour cherry glazed duck, which came out perfectly crispy. The staff was very friendly, something I have not always experienced here being foriegn. I sat at the bar, and could generally see into the kitchen; it was clean and they seemed to preparing dishes as ordered. (In the US, made to order is not always the case!) The bartender recommended a great wine. Cozy place, definitely worth going out of my way for!
A very unique little restaurant with very well prepared dishes
Great service
Fantastic place. Good food. Nice staff.
Very good food. Service a bit slow.
Located in the midst of the old city of Mulhiem lies this beautiful restaurant, hundreds of years old. Food and drinks are one of the best here. Ambience is also quiet nice and the infrastructure is breathtaking.
Good meat and nice starters. Location is really nice, in the city center, and restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Not cheap, but good food quality and good service. Beer was great, very fresh and tasty. It has 2 floors and is even ok for a drink.
Good German food
Great traditional German restaurant with authentic food and a great drink selection. If you are looking for German food with great ambiance.. Then this is your place
Everything fresh and or self made, excellent.
Good restaurant with dalicious food
Upscale German cuisine in a beautiful place! One of the best restaurants in Mühlheim.
I had the best Spargel (white asparagus) here -- firm and just right. Memorable food and great service, that is worth every Euro you'll spend here...
